Doodles’ $DOOD token is now live 🚨
Doodles have launched their long-awaited $DOOD token - the core currency of the Doodles ecosystem moving forwards.
Released on May 9 on Solana, the launch came just one day after the popular NFT collection distributed details on the forthcoming airdrop, and how "New Blood" - members of Doodles partner communities - would automatically receive an allocation of the $DOOD token.
The $DOOD token will see 30% of the supply go to Doodles NFT holders, 25% towards an ecosystem fund, 13% for the aforementioned New Blood, and the remainder for the Doodles team, company and liquidity provisions.
As of writing, $DOOD sits at a price of $0.0072 USD, with a market cap that sits above $50 million USD. Doodles NFTs have dropped to a floor price of 1.24 ETH and continue to fall - falling more than 60% over the past 24 hours.
Pixels and Forgotten Runiverse begin joint event 🔗
After announcing an alliance in April 2025, Ronin-based games Pixels and Forgotten Runiverse have kicked-off a major crossover event, with 5 million $PIXEL tokens up for grabs.
Beginning on May 5 at 19 UTC, the event – taking place within Forgotten Runiverse – allows players to offer up the in-game currency Quanta in return for a share of the 5 million $PIXEL reward pool.
$PIXEL can now be used within Forgotten Runiverse to acquire Mana, Boosts and exclusive mounts and cosmetics that are themed around the Pixels game.
Adidas to drop digital apparel in Xociety 👟
Adidas has partnered with Sui-based third-person shooter Xociety to release a limited collection of digital apparel for in-game use.
Set to debut on May 16, the collaboration will see 2,600 mystery boxes - ranging from $89.99 to $129.99 - made available to players, with each box including Adidas-themed sneakers, clothing items, and a quantity of $XO - the ecosystem token of Xociety.
This is the latest in a storied history of collaborations between Adidas and leading Web3 projects - with previous partnerships including the likes of Bored Ape Yacht Club and Doodles.
