Yuga Labs sells Moonbirds to Orange Cap Games 🤝
Yuga Labs has sold the intellectual property rights to the Moonbirds NFT collection to Orange Cap Games - developer of the officially-licensed Pudgy Penguins Vibes TCG.
The deal marks Yuga Labs’ third major divestment of a high-profile NFT collection in 2025 - following the sales of both the CryptoPunks and Meebits IPs - as Yuga renews its focus towards Bored Ape Yacht Club, Otherside, and "something special we've been cooking up".
Financial terms were not disclosed, and as of writing, other than creating an official Telegram channel for the Moonbirds brand, Orange Cap Games have yet to reveal firm details of their plans for the brand.
Rekt Drinks ‘Ship Rekt’ sells out in 17 mins 🥤
Ship Rekt, the latest flavour release from Web3 drinks brand Rekt Drinks – in collaboration with OpenSea – sold out in just 17 minutes on June 3.
All 7,500 NFTs were purchased for 0.029 ETH each, raising 217.5 ETH – almost $575,000 USD – and totalling 180,000 cans of the grapefruit and raspberry-flavoured beverage sold to the public.
Each NFT can now be redeemed for 24 cans of Ship Rekt – alongside OpenSea XP, Abstract XP and Rekt DRANK points, until 9 PST (12 EST, 17 BST) on June 6.
Pudgy Penguins sell 500th arcade machine 🕹️
Pudgy Penguins have revealed that they’ve shipped the 500th unit of their officially-licensed arcade machine, Polar Challenge.
Available in arcades across the USA, Polar Challenge is the latest facet of Pudgy Penguins strategy to become an entertainment icon – and with over 500 machines shipped in just 9 months, it’s one of the fastest-growing new arcade machines around.
On top of the Polar Challenge arcade machine, 2025 is set to be a year of expansion for the Pudgy Penguins brand – covering animated shows, books, video games and much more.
